801 Alma Family Housing
With the goal of creating more affordable homes for lower-income working families in our community, CWG and Eden Housing have come together to develop 801 Alma Family Housing.
It provides 50 (including one manager unit) much-needed affordable new apartments for working families who earn between 30 percent and 50 percent of the median income for the area, which equates to $20,700 to $51,750 for a family of four.
Located in downtown Palo Alto at the corner of Homer Avenue and Alma Street, 801 Alma is only two blocks away from the downtown multi-modal transit station, and it is situated within easy walking distance of groceries, parks, schools, stores, medical services and other downtown amenities.
CWG and Eden Housing have proven track records of success in developing high-quality, affordable housing communities. Their combined experience and business-minded approach make 801 Alma attractive, well-managed and affordable to lower-income working families in our community. It will remain as affordable homes for at least 55 years.
After construction is complete Eden Housing Management will provide ongoing management of the facility, and Eden Housing Resident Services will provide a range of services to the residents of 801 Alma Street.
